Jcamelo -- This post is for YOU

Time for me to review one of the best bits of protein I've had in a while, this one is Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60. I've purchased about 2 bottles of this protein in the last year, just trying to alternate around, and the best results I've seen have come from this protein. It's very good as far as taste, very high absorbent, lower fat concentration, and I was gaining three pounds of muscle every two months. I would recommend this protein powder to anyone who is trying to either cut or gain weight. It gives you a lot of control over your calorie and fat intake while giving you a whole 60 grams of protein per serving.

The reason why I've dedicated this post to Jcamelo is because he said he gets really specific on the taste of certain protein shakes (as stated in the post below this). I would have 3 scoops of this stuff, immediately after a work out, and I would drink it with hot water. Unlike most of my other shakes that I prefer with milk, this one I would recommend with hot water. It's a lot more soothing and relaxing, and in fact, tastes better than some of the hot chocolate that I've had. How many people here can admit that they've had a protein shake made with hot water instead of warm water, cold water, or milk? Give it a shot, hit the gym, carve some abs, build the bi's, and make your Lats Impressive!

  2. Does this stuff actually work? I've put in more chemicals over the last 5-6 years than a chemist!

  3. I haven't tried this product. I have only tried whey and maxi-muscle all in one shakes with creatine in it too. I am thinking of trying out some pre workout supps, i hear that jack3d is really good but I haven't tried it.

  6. Hot water does not sound like a bad alternative as described, but in the summer time I don't think it will be as appealing. Does it still go good with Milk, as that is my personal preference?

  7. @DavidicusVH It may all depend on the type of person you are. I drink hot beverages all year round--From coffee, to cappuccino, to hot chocolate. I really enjoy them. Warm/Hot drinks are very soothing and relaxing, no matter the time of year. One chemical aspect to looking forward to this is that things tend to mix faster, and better in hot water. Does it go good with milk? Yes, you will have the occasional chunk though.

  8. @Gazman Jack3d is a good pre-workout. I'll be making comments and a review on this product as well as C4 Extreme. They're both similar in nature, but I have some dimes to drop. Stay tuned.

  9. @D22 Zone: Problem with working out, is that people expect overnight results. We have been referred to as the "Microwave Generation"--What takes an hour in the oven is now 8 minutes in the microwave. I'll be posting more on this eventually, but to sum it up: To see the results from the stuff "working", you need to build a habit for your body, and keep a similar routine going for > 6 months. Progress can be made without supplements, but with a very strict diet. Supplements just make it easier. Where else can you find 60g of protein with 10g of fat? Heck, 8 ounces of milk has 5g..

  11. I've seen your avi on some of the pages I follow today and thought I'd drop in and read your blog. I don't work out, but I'm a drummer and we build a good bit of lean muscle. 60 grams is a whole lot of protein. If you're building mass though, this looks like the right product.

  13. It seems like a good option to drink it down with hot water. Drinking tons of milk does not always agree with my tummy.
